Dortmund director Zorc says Utd target Sancho is player not easy to deal with
Borussia Dortmund have admitted that they are losing patience with their star winger Jadon Sancho after his latest off-the-pitch discretion.
Sancho was recently fined £8,000 for breaking lockdown protocols to get a haircut by a celebrity hairdresser, with Germany still under strict rules during the coronavirus pandemic.
Earlier in the season, the England international was dropped from Dortmund's starting side for their Champions League clash with Barcelona, after he was 'considerably late' to a team meeting.
Dortmund's sporting director, Marcael Zorc, said: 'Jadon is not only an exceptional footballer who is noticeable on the pitch but now and then also outside of the pitch.
'Sometimes it's not easy for us,' he told SportBild.
Zorc's comments come days after teammate Emre Can said that Sancho must 'grow up' after he flouted lockdown to have his hair cut.
The 20-year-old has also rubbed the Dortmund faithful up the wrong way this season - after he posted a video to social media of a lavish Christmas holiday he was on, whilst the team were on a winter break.
The working-class fanbase of Dortmund did not appreciate Sancho's post and his regular trips back to England have not gone down well with the club.
Sancho has also attracted plenty of interest from other European clubs and is valued at around a whopping £115million.
Manchester United are keen to sign the winger, who has impressed during the Bundesliga this season with 17 goals and 17 assists from 29 league matches.
Chelsea have also shown interest in Sancho, but have focused their attention on Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Kai Havertz.
The Blues recently agreed a deal to sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner - leaving Sancho's chances of coming to Stamford Bridge rather slim.
