Dortmund admit they're worried about Sancho's future amid Man Utd interest

Manchester United have struck fear into Borussia Dortmund over their interest in wonderkid Jadon Sancho.

United will battle with several sides from the Premier League and elsewhere for Sancho's signature this summer, with the 20-year-old reportedly being valued at £115m by his Bundesliga employers.

The Old Trafford side are understood to have agreed a number of factors in the deal, as Dortmund look increasingly likely they will begin 2020-21 without the talent who has 17 goals and 17 assists for the Bundesliga season so far.

'It is clear that we are concerned. But I don't want to talk about that now,' director of football Michael Zorc, a 1980's and 90's Dortmund icon, said.

United will enjoy getting one over rivals Manchester City if they land Sancho, after the south-Londoner quit the Citizens' academy aged 17 hoping to accelerate his development in Germany.

He's done exact that in three seasons in front of the Yellow Wall, set to make his 98th appearance for BVB against RB Leipzig on Saturday, having scored 34 goals and provided 43 assists.

Having proved his world class ability in the Champions League last season, Sancho has stepped up another level this term to cement himself alongside the likes of team-mate Erling Haaland at the top of the game.

Sancho's signing would be yet another step in United's tiresome struggle to win their first Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson left Old Trafford in 2012.
