THE TWO STARS MAN UTD EXPECT TO SIGN AFTER SEALING WAN-BISSAKA TRANSFER
Manchester United will look to sign Sean Longstaff and Bruno Fernandes after completing a deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to reports.
According to the publication, the club hope to strengthen in midfield after losing Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini in recent months and are confident of signing both Longstaff and Sporting Lisbon star Fernandes.
It is claimed that United believe that Newcastle youngster Longstaff, who made just nine appearances in the Premier League last season, is eager to leave his boyhood club and believe they can bring him to Old Trafford for around £25m.
That has reportedly caused the club to hold off on making an official bid for the 21-year-old, while the club have also taken their time over a move for Fernandes as they consider other options.
Manchester City , Liverpool and Tottenham had all been linked with the Portugal international, who scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists in all competitions for Sporting last term, but have reportedly withdrawn their interest.
It is understood that the Red Devils made their interest in the player clear before the end of last season have held talks over a move with both Sporting and the player's agent.
