Pogba still out of Man Utd training squad for Norwich clash as Lingard returns
Man utd news update live:
Brandon Williams and James Garner look set to travel with the Man Utd squad for their game against Norwich City.
United trained in a group of 20 players before boarding a flight from Manchester Airport to Norwich, where they'll stay over tonight (Saturday) before the kick off at Carrow Road.
Paul Pogba, Axel Tuanzebe, Diogo Dalot, Nemanja Matic and Luke Shaw all sat out of training and will not travel with the squad to East Anglia due to respective injury problems. Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Eric Bailly will also stay behind as they concentrate on recovering from long-term injuries.
There was no sign, either, of young quartet Mason Greenwood , Ethan Laird, Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes, after all four started for United's Under-23s as they beat Stoke 3-1 at Leigh Sports Village on Friday night. Greenwood, however, was taken off around the hour mark as a pre-planned substitution and is expected to travel to Norwich.
Solskjaer will make the final decision on who drops out of the likely 20-strong travelling squad.
Others to train included Jesse Lingard, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Anthony Martial, who have all made full recoveries from injury issues and will be available to start the game against the Canaries.
