Man Utd fans make Pogba demand after two missed penalties against Norwich

Man utd news update live:
Fans have demanded Paul Pogba be reinstated as penalty taker when he returns to the side after Manchester United missed two spot-kicks in the first-half against Norwich City.

It had been a positive performance from United and they took a deserved lead when Scott McTominay opened the scoring in the 21st minute and also scored United's 2,000th Premier League goal.

United got the opportunity to double their lead minutes later when Dan James was hauled down in the area by Ben Godfrey but Marcus Rashford's effort was saved by Tim Krul.

Rashford would slot home a fine strike moments later to atone for the miss but he wouldn't be the only one to fluff his lines from 12 yards.

United were awarded a controversial penalty when Todd Cantwell was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box but Krul managed to save it again, this time from Anthony Martial.

It means United have missed four penalties this season, the other two coming from Rashford and Pogba.

Pogba hasn't taken one since his miss from the spot against Wolves sparked controversy as Rashford had scored one the week before against Chelsea.

However, fans are now calling for Pogba to be the designated taker after the misses against the Canaries.
