Solskjaer insists Utd's situation isn't as bad as 4-0 loss to Everton in April
Man utd news update live:
It was after Manchester United's 4-0 thrashing at Everton back in April that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer publicly questioned whether his players had given up.
Solskjaer also claimed United are 'starting a rebuild' despite 15 of the 18-man squad at Goodison Park that afternoon still playing in the United ranks now.
He replied: 'We're unhappy about the results and it's the results that bring out the mood of everyone. And I've got to say sorry to the fans that we're not winning games.
'But that's down to starting a rebuild and this is not a similar situation to when I was sat here after the defeat at Everton, when I felt people had given up, and that they don't give what they have for the shirt.
'These boys give everything for the shirt and we'll get there again.'
