Solskjaer warns stars they cannot afford to start EPL season slow

Man utd news update:
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has warned his Manchester United players that they simply cannot afford a poor start to the new season.

United face Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in the first nine Premier League games of the season after finishing the last campaign with just one win in nine in all competitions.

Solskjaer wants to hit the ground running after having the majority of his players available for the training camp in Perth and the opening two pre-season games against Perth Glory and Leeds United.

'The start of the season is important, that's why we've worked them hard,' said the United manager ahead of the third match against Inter Milan in Singapore.

'I don't think many of the players have had a pre-season like this before in the last two or three years because there have been championships.

'It's their first pre-season for a little while.

'So, for us, in the first 8 to 10 games you don't win anything but you can definitely lose the chance to win things.

'The first two months is vital for us.'
