Man Utd 'make De Gea improved contract offer after £350,000-a-week rejected'
Man utd evening news live:
Manchester United have made an improved offer to David de Gea in the hope of finally reaching a breakthrough in contract negotiations.
The Spain goalkeeper has entered the final year of his deal and will be a free agent in 12 months.
But United have told him they will not sell this summer - even if he rejects their latest offer.
Old Trafford's hierarchy have made the decision that they are prepared to risk losing him for nothing to give them every chance of reaching agreement.

De Gea has been holding out for a deal that will make him the highest paid player at the club, in line with Alexis Sanchez’ terms of around £450,000-a-week.
United have so far refused to meet those demands - with their best offer of around £350,000-a-week rejected earlier in the season.
