Solskjaer wants Man Utd to make three more transfers before window closes

Man utd news updates live:
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Manchester United to complete three more transfers before the window slams shut, according to reports.

The Red Devils boss has already signed Daniel James from Swansea City for £18million and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace for £55million.

But Solskjaer is keen to bring in more players as speculation surrounding the futures of Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku refuses to go away.

Pogba has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Juventus this summer, with the former the favourites to land Manchester United's record signing.

Los Blancos have also splashed some considerable cash this window, bringing in Eden Hazard from Chelsea and Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt among others.

They are now looking to sell one of James Rodriguez or Gareth Bale to free up funds to land Pogba.

Italian giants Inter Milan meanwhile are favourites to sign Lukaku, but are yet to reach an agreement with Manchester United on a price for the Belgian.

According to The Sun, Red Devils manager Solskjaer is looking to sign another defender, a central midfielder and a forward before the end of the window.

Manchester United have been linked to a handful of players in each of these positions over the past month, with Harry Maguire the club's top defensive target.

Bruno Fernandes, Scott Longstaff and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic meanwhile are midfield targets. And Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, as well as Lille forward Nicolas Pepe are attacking targets.
