Sarri 'offered chance to coach Roma' next season.
Sarri not in the losing side;still has a duty call for Roma
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has reportedly been offered the chance to coach Roma next season.
According to La Reppublica, Roma consultant Franco Baldini and President James Pallotta had dinner in London with Sarri, where he was proposed Eusebio Di Francesco’s position.
The newspaper explains Di Francesco is ‘very likely’ to make way at the end of the season and that sporting director Monchi ‘could also leave’.
Consequently, the former Napoli Coach would be the Giallorossi’s ‘first choice’ to take the reins, given his own insecurities at Stamford Bridge.
Roma are fifth in Serie A after 24 games played and face nearby Frosinone on Saturday.
