Lukaku hilariously asks why he wasn't passed to as Pogba scores first goal.

Hilarious lukaku inquires why he wasn't passed for!

Manchester United's fairytale start under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continued on Saturday when they eased past Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Paul Pogba netted a brace in the 3-0 win while Anthony Martial capped off a fantastic day for the Red Devils which saw them leapfrog Chelsea into fourth.

Pogba, who has now scored 10 league goals in a single season for the first time in his career, got the visitors off to an emphatic start as he superbly finished from a difficult angle in the lunchtime kick off.

Everything has been going the Frenchman's way since Solskjaer's but someone who's been needing a bit of momentum at Old Trafford as of late is Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian striker started up top for United against the Cottagers and was hoping to break his run of five league games without a goal.

As Pogba thumped home the opener, Lukaku made a run in front of goal in the hope that the midfielder would pass the ball to him for a tap-in.

Replays showed Lukaku hilariously demanding why the ball wasn't passed to him before quickly realising that the shot had in fact gone in leading to Lukaku applauding his team-mate.

The striker's reaction, which wasn't originally noticed at first, was picked up by Sky Sports pundits Jamie Redknapp, Louis Saha and Alex Scott who couldn't help but laugh at the Belgium international.

Lukaku's reaction was then picked up by fans on social media, who also saw the funny side of it.

One fan tweeted, 'Look at Lukaku’s reaction after the goal!!! Still upset Pogba didn’t square it!!!' which was followed by several laughing emojis.

Another laughed: 'I don’t get Lukaku’s reaction after Pogba’s first goal, did he want an offside or something.'

However, some interpreted Lukaku's actions as selfish.

One Twitter used said: 'Just noticed Lukaku’s reaction to Pogba’s goal. Not a fan of that at all.'

Following the opener, Martial went on to make it 2-0 before Pogba extended United's lead from the penalty spot.

Fulham eventually pulled one back but it was too little too late as Solskjaer and his men continue to go marching on.
