‘Ferguson wants Solskjaer to be given Man Utd job permanently NOW’.

Sir Alex Ferguson wants Manchester United to appoint Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager on a permanent basis now.

Solskjaer has made a superb impact since taking charge in a caretaker capacity, winning 11 out of 13 games in all competitions.

As reported by The Mirror, legendary former United boss Ferguson has told close friends that United should appoint Solskjaer permanently now as opposed to waiting until the end of the season.

Since taking over from Jose Mourinho Solskjaer has won 11 out of his 13 games in charge.

Ferguson, who managed Solskjaer, has spoken to the Norwegian on several occasions since he was appointed and has also regularly visited United's training ground.

In particular, Ferguson is delighted that Solskjaer has overseen a return to United's traditional style of attacking football.

Furthermore, Ferguson is pleased with the fact that former United players Michael Carrick and Mark Dempsey have formed part of Solskjaer's backroom staff.

Solskjaer will be hoping to oversee another victory when United host rivals and title chasers Liverpool on Sunday.
