Ander Herrera did not just please Manchester United fans with his opening goal and performance against Chelsea but he also delighted them with his actions at the end of the game.
The midfielder broke the deadlock in the 31st minute with a header as United secured a 2-0 victory over the Blues to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals.
It was his conversation with under-firing Alexis Sanchez at full-time that went down particularly well with United supporters.
The Chile international has struggled at Old Trafford, scoring just twice in 20 appearances this season but he replaced Romelu Lukaku in the 73rd minute of United's win at Stamford Bridge.
Herrera went over to Sanchez and embraced him following his cameo role. He also praised the forward following the match.
'I would like to speak about Alexis, Andreas (Pereira) and Scott (McTominay) the way they play in the game,' Herrera told the BBC.
'A world class player like Sanchez and he comes on to fight and play this way because this is Manchester United.'
