PSG table bid for Pogba and offer Di Maria AND Draxler to Man Utd (CM)
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly made a bid for Manchester United's Paul Pogba but surprisingly offered Old Trafford flop Angel Di Maria as part of the deal.
Pogba's future at United is uncertain after he revealed his desire to leave the club last summer and continued links with other European sides.
The France international has also made just nine appearances for the club in all competitions this term after a lengthy battle to overcome an ankle injury.
Now, Calciomercato claim PSG have made a bid for Pogba as they bid to win the Champions League for the first time in their history.
The report claims a big-money bid has been submitted in the hope United will cash in on a player who has just a year remaining on his contract plus the option of a further year if the club opt to activate it.
But the biggest surprise of the offer is that it also includes two players, Di Maria and German midfielder Julian Draxler, in part exchange.
The inclusion of Di Maria is unlikely to tempt United to accept given the Argentine's disappointing one-year stay at Old Trafford in 2014-15.
The Argentina international made a flying start with a wonder goal against Leicester City but then struggled to make any impact thereafter under Louis van Gaal.
He was then sold to PSG in 2015 where he has revived his career by winning four straight league titles and helping the club reach the Champions League semi-finals this term.
Although five years have passed since Di Maria's exit from United there is no love lost between club and player, with the winger celebrating purposefully in front of fans at Old Trafford during his side's 2-0 win on his return in 2018.
But it was United who had the last laugh as they won 3-1 in the return leg at the Parc des Princes to draw 3-3 on aggregate and advance to the quarter-finals on away goals.
