Sancho 'will decide between Utd and Madrid after ruling out joining Chelsea'
Jadon Sancho 'will decide between Manchester United and Real Madrid' after the England star 'ruled out joining Chelsea.'
The 20-year-old forward, valued at £100million or more, is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund once the transfer window opens this summer following the coronavirus shutdown.
A glorious season that has seen Sancho score 17 goals and contribute 19 assists for Dortmund in the Bundesliga and the Champions League has made him the hottest property in Europe.
And, according to Spanish outlet Diario Madridista, Sancho will now choose between Old Trafford and the Bernabeu having ruled out a move to Stamford Bridge.
They report that United are prepared to pay a six-figure sum to bring the former City academy player back to Manchester and remain in pole position.
But Real Madrid cannot be discounted from the race though they would prefer to lower the asking price by offering Dortmund players in part-exchange.
Diario Madridista report that Dortmund are realistic they won't get the £120m they wanted for Sancho a few months ago as the coronavirus pandemic impacts football finances across Europe.
Dortmund would like to keep Sancho, who is contracted at the Westfalenstadion until 2022, but are resigned to the player's preference to leave this year.
The Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild last month: 'Even before the coronavirus outbreak, we said that we prefer that Jadon stays with us.
'At the end of the day, however, you always have to respect what the player wants.'
