Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang laughs when asked if Tottenham are superior to Arsenal before derby
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang burst into laughter at the suggestion that Tottenham are better than their arch rivals ahead of the north London derby on Sunday.
Gunners top scorer Aubameyang could not contain his mirth at a suggestion by a fan that Arsenal's neighbours could be the superior side heading into their latest meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Asked by Sky Sports whether it was true or false that Spurs are better than Arsenal, Aubameyang at first appeared confused by the question.
The 2018/19 Golden Boot winner then chuckled: 'Are you serious? They're better than us?'
When he was told that the question had genuinely been sent in, grinning Aubameyang said it was false, adding: 'Come on.'
Arsenal enter Sunday's showdown eighth in the Premier League table two places and a point ahead of Tottenham, who have the same goal difference as Mikel Arteta's side.
Spurs are unbeaten in their last five home matches against Arsenal but will be wary of Aubameyang, whose 20 league goals this season mean he has only been outscored by Leicester's Jamie Vardy.
