UNITED V SOUTHAMPTON: WHEN, WHERE AND EVERYTHING ELSE
Manchester United face a first Monday night game in nearly five months when we host Southampton on 13 July.
The Reds know a victory at Old Trafford will strengthen our Champions League aspirations, as we hunt down Chelsea and Leicester City in the final two remaining top-four places.
As for the Saints, they will be looking to continue their impressive run of results since Project Restart, which has included victories over Norwich City, Watford and Manchester City.
WHICH TV CHANNEL IS IT ON?
Monday's Premier League match will be broadcast live in the UK, on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event, with kick-off set for 20:00 BST. MUTV subscribers can watch exclusive build-up in the Match Day Live show from 18:55 BST, followed by live commentary of the game itself. With fans unable to attend the matches, our Season Ticket holders have been offered free access to MUTV Digital for two months, and can watch match highlights the following day, along with the rest of our exclusive content.
WHO IS THE REFEREE?
Chris Kavanagh is set to be the man in the middle for Monday’s clash. It will only be the fourth time the referee has taken charge of a United game and his first-ever at Old Trafford. The Reds have actually never won when Kavanagh has officiated, having lost two and drawn one of these clashes. He will be assisted on Monday by Sian Massey-Ellis and Scott Ledger, while Anthony Taylor will assume the role of fourth official. Elsewhere, Lee Mason and Marc Perry will be based in Stockley Park watching the VAR monitors.
