Smalling 'will undergo tests tomorrow after suffering suspected thigh injury'
Roma defender Chris Smalling will undergo tests tomorrow after suffering a suspected thigh injury.
Smalling was forced off in the final stages of Roma’s 2-1 defeat to Napoli last night, and Corriere dello Sport reports he felt a twinge in his right adductor muscle.
Consequently, examinations have been booked for Tuesday, when the Manchester United loanee will learn the extent of his injury.
The 31-year-old has played 32 times for the Giallorossi this season, scoring two goals.
However, he will return to United once Serie A finishes after the Red Devils refused to grant an extension for the Europa League.
