Pereira, Lingard & McTominay in Utd squad for Brugge game, Martial out (MEN)

Solskjaer and his Man Utd players arrived at the Lowry Hotel on Thursday afternoon ahead of their Europa League last-32 second leg against Club Brugge.

Andreas Pereira, Jesse Lingard and Scott McTominay have all been included in Manchester United's provisional squad for Thursday night's game against Club Brugge.

United's squad checked into the Lowry Hotel, their usual pre-match venue, at lunchtime and will travel to Old Trafford this evening ahead of the game.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has brought Pereira and Lingard back into the fold after they were omitted from the matchday squad against Watford on Sunday. Both men were spotted by MEN photographers arriving at the team hotel and could feature in the Europa League second leg.

However, a total of 22 players were pictured arriving at the hotel, meaning four of them (one goalkeeper and three outfield players) will be culled from the matchday 18 when the teams are confirmed just over an hour before kick-off.

Odion Ighalo and McTominay could start if Solskjaer opts to shuffle his pack, while Tahith Chong and Angel Gomes could again be involved. Anthony Martial wasn't pictured but photographers confirmed he was present and is in line to play, as he seeks a fourth goal in four successive games.

In-form midfielder Fred was not spotted by photographers.

Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, Axel Tuanzebe, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Lee Grant remain unavailable due to injury.

The tie is level at 1-1 after Martial's away goal in Belgium gave United a strong chance of securing a spot in the last 16. Brugge are without two key players through injury, captain Ruud Vormer and key forward Emmanuel Dennis, who netted the opening goal last week.

Ahead of the game, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "It’s a knock-out competition and we’ve got to find a team that is going to create enough chances, to score goals and win games. And a team that is not going to concede chances. We want to look like a strong, energetic, aggressive  Manchester United  team.

“Obviously, the expectation of Manchester United, and of most of the footballing world, is to expect us to go through. But I’m sure they will have an expectation to go through and want to go through.

“They’ve got to come here, score goals and beat us. I think that bodes for a good game. We want to win at home and want to improve as a team. They need to win the game or at least 2-2 and a score draw. Hopefully, it will be a good game of football.”

Players spotted by MEN photographers:
