Solskjaer set to be named permanent boss by Man Utd during international break.
Manchester United are ready to confirm Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their new permanent boss during the upcoming international break.
The 46-year-old Norwegian has enjoyed a remarkable run since being named as interim manager on December 19 following the dismissal of Jose Mourinho, winning 14 games, drawing two and losing just twice.
Solskjaer also oversaw a remarkable comeback against Paris Saint-Germain to book a quarter final place in the Champions League.
Initially, the plan was to leave the decision on Mourinho's full-time successor until the end of the season but the Red Devils are now ready to make decision before their next Premier League match, reports the Daily Mirror.
United legend Gary Neville also believes Solskjaer will be handed the job this month.
He said: 'I'll be surprised if Solskjaer is not awarded the job during the international break in the next couple of weeks.
'I can't believe it what's happened. I thought when he first came in it was just to reconnect the club with the fans, the players, keep everyone happy.'
Solskjaer revealed his contract with Molde was terminated so that he could sign up with Manchester United until June.
