Grealish hints at future plans amid Man Utd transfer interest

Jack Grealish has dropped a hint at where he might see his future amid transfer interest from Manchester United.

Grealish is one of a number of midfield transfer targets on United's radar, along with the likes of Leicester City star James Maddison and Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

And Grealish - who would cost around £70million - may have been putting his hand up for a move when the Aston Villa captain 'liked' an Instagram post from United's official account.

The 24-year-old endorsed United’s 'match rewind' post of their 4-0 victory over Chelsea on the opening weekend of the season, when Marcus Rashford’s brace was followed by goals from Anthony Martial and Daniel James.

The post read: "These four goals capped off the perfect Premier League opening weekend."

It is not the first time Grealish has indicated he has an affinity with United, as he previously hinted he would like to wear the No7 shirt worn by Cristiano Ronaldo.

Grealish wears the number 10 for Villa - but if he moved to United he would find that shirt already taken by Rashford.

But asked on an Instagram Q & A what his second choice of shirt number would be, Grealish said: "I used to love 7 growing up [be]cause of Cristiano [Ronaldo]."
