Manchester United are reportedly set to be tested by a £100million bid from Real Madrid for Marcus Rashford.
According to The Sun , the Spanish giants are refusing to give up on their efforts to sign the England international.
They are hopeful of striking a deal in the summer before Rashford pens a new deal after the youngster decided to stall on discussing terms for an Old Trafford extension.
Los Blancos officials are understood to have made initial contact with Rashford's representatives back in November as he was growing discontent under Jose Mourinho.
Whilst Rashford has had a resurgence in form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is primed to be offered a mega money deal by the Red Devils, his decision to hold off on talks has given Real Madrid hope.
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to guarantee him a role as their No.1 striker to become their long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo .
They will also offer him a £250,000 a week wage to usurp the £200,000 thought to be on offer at Old Trafford.
Rashford is said to be intending to stay at Old Trafford, but if Real Madrid pull the trigger and ramp up their interest as planned then it will be a worry for United chiefs.
