Sanchez supports Belgium to win worldcup
Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez revealed that he wants Belguim to win the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Red Devils won all thier three fixtures to top spot Group G ahead of England as they set up clash with Japan in the last-16, before a potential quarter-final clash with tournament favourites Brazil.
Sanchez’s Chile failed to qualify for the Mundial in Russia and Premier League star admits he is ‘angry’ not to be at the summer’s showpiece event.
The 29-year-old switch from Emirate to Old Trafford last January transfer window, also revealed he is rooting for his fellow Manchester United teammate Romelu Lukaku to fire Belgium to World Cup glory.
Speaking to Fox Sports, he said: ‘I feel angry not to go, we could have been there, but I want Belgium to be world champion for my friend Lukaku.
"He is fine, on fire, I hope he is the World Cup top goalscorer.
"We are talking every day on WhatsApp, we go everywhere together [in England], we talk about what the team lacks.
"We get along very well. I think Belgium will be world champion.’
